DLD lists a 4% total sale registration fee, allocated 2% seller / 2% buyer in its schedule; the contract may allocate the full amount to the buyer. Trustee default is AED 4,000 plus VAT for transactions of AED 500,000 or more; change it to AED 2,100 below that threshold. Admin costs vary by transaction. Mortgage registration estimate is 0.25% of the loan plus AED 290 budgeted admin costs.
